Poppies can symbolize sleep--think of The Wizard of Oz characters who fall asleep in a poppy field. Here the kitties are not quite asleep but drowsiness is apparent. For cat-lovers and people who like red poppies, I have captured a portion of the larger painting to share. This image looks particularly nice as cards and iPhone cases.

Poppies symbolize sleep--hence the field of poppies in the Wizard of Oz. Yes, the customer wanted red poppies but the painting needed more; and, she just happened to have Siamese cats. Thanks for the like and vote!
